The omeral veil (from the Latin humerus, "shoulder") or continence, is a liturgical parade used by Catholic Church and Anglican Church.

It consists of a piece of rectangular cloth about 2.5 meters long and about 60 cm wide. It is equipped with two strips of cloth or metal hooks placed approximately at the center of the veil, to securely fix the cover if it is worn for a long time.
