the conopee of the altar, also called pavilion or musket, unlike the conopee of the tabernacle, is a liturgical decorative apparatus typical of the Ambrosian rite, also fallen into disuse from the Second Vatican Council and currently used only in some churches. It consists of a large triangle of cloth that was placed around the altar, hanging from the top summit to a wooden crown and kept open to the sides by two statues of angels. The conopeum of the altar has all the liturgical colors - except black - and is changed according to the color of time; during the Fridays of Lent, the conopeum was "swisted" on the sides and completely enveloping the unsaturated altar.

Our conopies are processed and manufactured in Italy, by artisans who still use the ancient processes of processing of sacred vestments. The production times vary according to the product. Every product is made for you.
