St. Teresa (the cult)
Teresa was born in 1873 in a deeply believing environment. Recently her parents were also declared blessed. She received, therefore, a deeply religious education that soon led her to choose religious life at the Carmel of Lisieux. Memory of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus, virgin and Doctor of the Church: having entered the Carmel of Lisieux in France while still a teenager, she became by purity and simplicity of life a teacher of holiness in Christ, teaching the way of spiritual infancy to arrive at Christian perfection and placing every mystical solicitude at the service of the salvation of souls and the growth of the Church. He ended his life on September 30, at the age of twenty-five.
